May I persuade you to make high-quality color copies of your work for lamination/public distribution? The idea of wrapping beautiful, original, one-of-a-kind artwork around *high school* library books (while a very wonderful and generous idea) is akin to dropping ballerina paratroopers over some swarming maelstrom of roaring unrest. The copies could act as close-enough stunt doubles, and you can create plenty of backups in case your work is unspeakably defiled like my handmade French textbook cover was sophomore year.
